Certified nurse-midwives are registered nurses who have completed an advanced educational program in midwifery accredited by the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM).

All of our birth assistants are:
- nurses, are licensed in the State of Maryland
- on-call for labor support, birth assistance, and home visits
- committed to helping you have the birth experience you’ve always wanted
Lactation Consultants
Our lactation consultants:
- are certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners
- offer classes on breastfeeding and milk expression to help you prepare for your baby’s arrival
- provide private consultations and advice for purchasing supplies at our Breastfeeding Boutique
